Elizabeth Biser

She previously served as the Director of Legislative & Intergovernmental Affairs for the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources, where she played a primary role in securing $134 million in funding for the Green Square Complex in downtown Raleigh and successfully advocating for the inclusion of $78 million in the Connect NC bond package for state and local parks.

For nearly a decade, Elizabeth served as a Government Relations and Policy Advisory at Brooks Pierce, a North Carolina-based law firm, where she represented clients in the environmental, financial, communications, manufacturing, transportation, medical, and local government sectors before North Carolina state government and the U.S. Congress.
